CALM CAMPUS

(SEL Student Assembly)

Our engaging and fun student assemblies provide K-12 students with practical social-emotional learning (SEL) skills rooted in yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. We get them moving and empower students to manage stress, deal with test anxiety, and mature, while enhancing their performance in sports and building healthy relationships. Through these empowering tools, students gain the confidence and emotional resilience to have a “CALM CAMPUS”

Our dynamic student assemblies go beyond teaching—they transform. K-12 students:

  • Develop Management Skills: Learn tools to effectively handle school pressures, test anxiety, and everyday stressors.
  • Build Emotional Resilience: Develop mindfulness and emotional regulation techniques to navigate personal challenges.

The inspiring practices of Dat Yoga Dude, James Woods.  James is personable, knowledgeable and fun, everyone wants him to come back! He’s taught low-impact chair yoga as well as mindfulness techniques to staff. All of our participants discovered that yoga is a practice that knows no age boundaries, and that mindfulness techniques are absolutely relevant for decreasing stress at any age. Calm Campus 

School Transformaiton Program 

The CALM CAMPUS curriculum bases program extends the transformative practices introduced in our student assemblies into a full-year initiative designed to foster a culture of wellness across the entire school community. Through yoga, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning (SEL) practices, this program creates lasting change by embedding these tools into daily campus life.

Program Highlights:

  • Daily Wellness Routines: Establish morning mindfulness practices, stress-relief techniques, and yoga sessions to create a calm and focused start to each day.
